Took this at a car rally on Australia Day (26 Jan). Hand held (on the floor really) +/- 3 EV, tonemapped in Photomatix and post processed in PS/E.
The colours were fantastic under the bright midday sun.

WOW!  It's so easy to over-saturate on a shot like this, but the color and comp are right on target.  Terrific!

I have to disagree with Mel on this one.   The bottom bumper seems over saturated to me, and there is a magenta hue in the sky.   Also your vignette although nice and subtle, makes it appear as if there is a halo over the right side headlight.  you did a very good job, if it were me I would have toned it down just a tad.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
To be honest the car saturation is pretty much as it was. It really was a very brightly-coloured paint job (which is what attracted me to the car: Ooooh look; shiny...)
I agree with the sky though, I masked it off and did some tinkering with PS photo filtering on that as it was really quite the whiter side of blue/cyan. It was an incredibly bright and sunny day and the image stack (looking up at the car) really suffered from the ultra brightness of the sky. The stack was exposed for the darker underside of the car's bonnet/hood three under and three over. I'm still not happy with the sky, and I'll probably end up replacing it with something more evenly lit that fits a bit better. That'll allow me to remove the other car distractions too.
Cheers
